Agrarhistoria etablerades som ett eget ämne 1994 då Avdelningen för agrarhistoria bildades vid Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet. Dessutom arrangerar vi varje månad seminarier för våra forskare och inbjudna gäster.

The Agricultural History Society of Ireland is always open to new members and would like to hear from anyone with an interest in agricultural or food history. Our main activity is organising conferences on a range of agriculture-related topics. We had a very successful pair of thematically linked events this year. In June in Castlebar we were treated to a weekend conference Agriculture, Conflict and Rebellion in Early Twentieth Century Ireland.
